Get Your Approved Changes Live Across Your Listings

Finish with evidence of what customers can see. A successful publication can be followed by a sync or analysis problem; repeating the whole batch can reapply changes that are already live.

What you’ll be able to do

Verify which approved changes reached the store and distinguish publishing from sync/analysis failure.

Before you start

Use the supplied completed-case records below. No real publication, schedule, store reconnection, retry or revert is required. All dates, text, reported outcomes and offered actions in this case are synthetic exercise data, not a claim about your account or a real completed update.

Publish deliberately and verify each stage

Start from the exact internally approved products and fields. In a future authorised task, open the run, finish review, then choose Schedule & Publish. Check the final selected listings, copy/media scope and any Blocked or Will replace notice before choosing Publish now or confirming a schedule. A generated result, an internal approval and a live change are different states.

Read each listing’s reported outcome. A bulk group can contain completed, failed or excluded products. Verify the intended text, formatting and supported media on the connected store; use History for the affected fields. A completed flag is useful evidence, but it does not replace looking at the product customers can reach.

A follow-up sync or analysis can fail after publication succeeded. If the current store already contains the approved change, do not publish it again merely to fix a later stage. Read the item’s reason and use Retry sync or Retry analysis only when that action is actually offered for that failed stage.

If publication itself failed, check the store before recovery anyway. Another user or a later action may already have completed it. Resolve the displayed connection or credit issue with the supported route, refresh the item and compare current content again. Use an offered Retry only for the eligible unresolved scope; do not repeat the entire batch or assume a retry succeeded.

An Updates could not be refreshed message means displayed rows may be stale. Reload before acting. Scheduled Updates has Scheduled, History and All views; open the item or View listings on a bulk group to inspect individual statuses, fields and lifecycle. A planned date does not prove publication completed.

Pending schedules may offer Reschedule, Push now or Cancel. Running updates are locked. Cancelling a pending item stops that pending work; it does not undo a completed store change. A Will replace notice needs review of the existing pending content/time; blocked listings need their own reason resolved. Do not assume every historical row can be edited.

For future schedules, check the displayed store timezone and per-store breakdown. Equal wall-clock times in different stores can be different actual moments. Newer store edits may hold an update for comparison rather than allowing older prepared content to overwrite them automatically.

Read any platform-specific manual media or metadata notice and keep its handoff open until the actual destination work is checked. History can offer Revert for eligible changes, but that is a new affected-field change, not a harmless preview. Compare the current and resulting values in Confirm Revert; later same-field wording can be replaced. Cancel when that result is not intended.

Your supplied approved scope

SYNTHETIC EXERCISE — EX-SHOP-01 / Willow Home UK / EX-RUN-701, 22 October 2026. These are supplied completed-case records, not actual store evidence or independent verification of real supplier information. The paper authorisation EX-AUTH-701 at 14:35 UTC permits Description only for EX-WC-501 and EX-WC-502. Both revised texts were separately reviewed in this case; this does not turn the previously skipped L15 throw into an approved product automatically. EX-SHOP-01: EX-WC-501/TR-COT-01 and EX-WC-502/TH-WOOL-02, Description only. Approved 2; EX-WC-503/EB-01 excluded. Title, Short description, price, images, metadata and videos are outside the update. No learner publishing or connection action is requested.

Compare the recorded result with the store

Listing	Reported result / offered action	Supplied store observation	Supplied History evidence
EX-WC-501	Publication completed at 14:41 UTC; follow-up analysis failed at 14:42 UTC. This supplied item offers Retry analysis, not a new publication instruction.	Supplied storefront observation at 14:45 UTC: Description exactly matches the full approved Description above; Title Botanical cotton table runner unchanged.	EX-HIST-701 at 14:41 UTC, Description only; Before exactly matches the full before Description above and After exactly matches the full approved Description above.
EX-WC-502	Publication failed before application at 14:41 UTC; supplied reason Connection expired. Offered route: reconnect the store; Retry is available only after the connection is restored. No completed recovery is supplied.	Supplied storefront observation at 14:45 UTC: Description exactly matches the full before Description above; Title Handmade wool throw with fringe unchanged.	No completed EX-RUN-701 Description change for this listing is supplied at 14:45 UTC.

Excluded EX-WC-503/EB-01, Wireless earbuds: current Description “Wireless earbuds for everyday listening.” Supplied storefront 14:45 UTC shows that same Description and Title. No EX-RUN-701 change was requested for it. This is an exclusion, not a failed product to retry.

Try it

Write the approved store/product/field scope and identify the excluded item. Compare the full before/approved text records with each supplied 14:45 UTC store observation and History evidence.
Classify each product: publication verified live with follow-up failure, publication still failed at the supplied time, or excluded. Count verified live, failed and excluded separately rather than calling every approved item live.
Write the narrow next check/recovery for each. Distinguish Retry analysis from the separate Retry sync example. For the throw, do not record connection repair or retry success that the case has not supplied.
Apply the later 14:55 UTC throw record and stale-refresh message. Explain what evidence changed, what to refresh and why repeating the old publication would no longer be justified by that old failed row.
Complete the manual handoff note with item/store, unperformed step, owner and required store check. Convert each supplied future 09:00 local time into UTC and decide whether those are simultaneous.
For the separate same-field revert comparison, name the newer Description that would be lost and the exact proposed result. Choose the paper action that preserves it; do not infer other fields are reverted.

Compare your publication and recovery decision

At 14:45 UTC, runner EX-WC-501 Description is verified live by the exact supplied storefront and EX-HIST-701 record; its failed stage is analysis. Do not republish it; investigate the offered Retry analysis for that stage. Throw EX-WC-502 still shows before and has publication failure from an expired connection; resolve the offered connection issue, refresh and check the live product again before an authorised eligible Retry. There is no supplied successful recovery. Earbuds EX-WC-503 were excluded, not failed. Approved 2 does not mean 2 live: at this observation, 1 verified live, 1 publication failed, 1 excluded. Title and all unrequested fields/media remain outside the scope.

For a future uncertain outcome, keep a concise recovery note: store, run/update, listing, requested field, observation time, reported failed stage, exact current versus intended value and offered action. Include error details when requesting support; do not include credentials. This case has no completed throw retry to add to that evidence.

Update the decision when newer evidence arrives

Separate later-evidence transfer: at 14:55 UTC, EX-WC-502 storefront Description exactly matches the full approved Description above. A new supplied History entry EX-HIST-702 at 14:53 UTC records Description only, Before exactly matches the full before Description above and After exactly matches the full approved Description above. The old failed row still appears after an Updates could not be refreshed message at 14:56 UTC. That display is stale evidence; no new failure or fresh Retry result is supplied.

The new store/History evidence supports the throw Description at 14:55 UTC; the earlier 14:45 UTC failure classification was correct for that earlier observation. Reconcile the newer evidence rather than pretending the old row is current. Reload the failed-refresh view and inspect the current lifecycle before another action. No actual account retry is demonstrated.

Recover sync without confusing it with analysis

Separate EX-UPD-703 / EX-SHOP-01 / EX-WC-501: publication completed 14:41 UTC; follow-up sync failed 14:42 UTC; supplied storefront 14:45 UTC matches the full approved Description above. Current item offers Retry sync. It is a different follow-up failure from EX-RUN-701 analysis failure; do not combine the two examples into one claimed observed sequence.

Use only the offered failed-stage recovery after confirming the live scope. Do not turn that separate sync example into a claim that EX-RUN-701 failed both sync and analysis. A missing updated score does not prove the approved Description failed to publish.

Keep the manual handoff visible

Separate supplied handoff EX-HANDOFF-701 / EX-SHOP-01 / EX-WC-504: approved copy is recorded live, while a platform notice requires one accepted product image to be uploaded manually. Handoff status at 15:00 UTC: image upload not performed; image order and metadata not verified; owner Shop editor; next check actual destination upload plus store appearance. No image file is supplied and this exercise does not ask you to judge image quality or perform the upload. Copy completion does not close this handoff.

That written record teaches completion tracking, not visual image judgement. Record who owns the remaining upload/check and keep it pending. A verified copy update is useful progress, while the required manual media work remains unfinished.

Read the future time in each store

Separate future-time paper transfer only: 23 October 2026, 09:00 in each displayed store timezone. Supplied offsets for this date: EX-SHOP-01 Europe/London UTC+01:00; EX-SHOP-02 America/New_York UTC-04:00. Use these explicit offsets for the exercise; a real scheduling dialog supplies the relevant timezone/breakdown.

Store	Displayed zone / supplied date offset	Chosen local time	Corresponding UTC
EX-SHOP-01	Europe/London UTC+01:00	23 October 2026, 09:00	23 October 2026, 08:00 UTC
EX-SHOP-02	America/New_York UTC-04:00	23 October 2026, 09:00	23 October 2026, 13:00 UTC

The two 09:00 local choices are five hours apart. If a real launch needs one simultaneous moment, use the actual dialog’s per-store breakdown and intended moment rather than assuming equal wall-clock values are simultaneous. Confirm the saved items and their eligible scope in Scheduled Updates; this paper transfer creates no schedules.

Review a revert as a new affected-field change

Separate same-field decision: EX-WC-501 later Description is supplied as "Cotton runner with hand-embroidered botanical detail, 160 x 35 cm; one runner. See the updated size guide before choosing." Confirm Revert for EX-HIST-701 shows that current value and the resulting Description is the full before Description above. Cancel preserves the newer current Description; confirming Revert would replace that affected Description with the full before Description above. No other field is included and no actual revert is requested.

Cancel is the paper choice that preserves the newer Description. Confirming the illustrated revert would restore the old vague Description and discard that later same-field wording. This result concerns Description only; it does not establish a whole-listing rollback.

Check your understanding

Complete the formative question and retain the product/field evidence and recovery note. A correct option or completion tick does not prove a real store update, successful recovery or complete manual handoff.
